Jack relaxed in the first class lounge amused by his willingness to take a vacation on a doomed ship for the pure and simple curiosity. of the idea. It wasn't like he was going to attempt to change history after all, he knew better than that. He hummed quietly to himself as he flipped through his book enjoying the quiet night even though he knew it wouldn't stay quiet for long.

There's an instant shock face of what the hell are you going on about?

[captainspain]

Jack isn't sure how to put what he's thinking into words, so he decides to be blunt and hope for the best. "Your journal...I saw the page about myself.....I'm sorry I didn't mean to look, but the picture drew my eye."

John is getting ready to close his door, "Good -," and then stops. So they did look at that but rather than being upset; John is honestly surprised and at loss for words. Once again, there seems to be a dim light that goes on for a moment.

"How could you be in my dreams, sir?"

There's a very conflicted face of they have and they haven't met, "Come in please."

They have time in a way, the staff won't say anything is a problem for another fifty minutes give or take.

Jack enters the room and stands a bit awkwardly as he works out how to answer the question in a way this man will understand. "Your dreams....do they feel more like memories then like dreams?"

John grows quiet and immediately sits down, feeling a bit dizzy between what he writes in that journal can't happen but also feel somewhere deep down - not only would he like be like The Doctor but that he... Is.

But his brain also tells him that's impossible. But at least this stranger - Jack isn't mocking this in any way of the sorts.

"Sometimes I dream - I have two hearts. And really feel like I do. But then I check and I don't."

Jack considers this. "What about a ship....do you remember a ship in your dreams....it looks like a bobby box on the outside and yet inside it is not?"

There's a pause and John goes into his bedroom to go and get his journal and opens it to that page and hands that over to the other man.

All the while with his head spinning.

[captainspain]

Jack nodded. "I need you to think......do you remember seeing a ship like that anywhere recently?"

[borntolove]

John has his hand on his forehead and looks like this is a bit too much, "No. Just in my dreams. It's not real. It would be remarkable if that magic box was but its not."

That's when Jack will get a psychic vision, that The Tardis is in the bottom of the ship but in a section that isn't flooded - yet. There's a strong feeling someone else is in John's bedroom...

Jack tilts his head for a moment as if listening. He follows the message to the nightstand where he pulls it open and reaches for the pocket watch he sees inside. "How long have you had this watch," he asks quietly.

[borntolove]

"My father gave it to me." John can't say, when though. Nor can John see the strange circular symbols as Jack can.

[captainspain]

Jack gently caresses the symbols following the pattern with his finger. "What sort of man was your father," he asks carefully waiting for the right time to bring up what he knows.

"A watchmaker," is the simple remark, meanwhile, it feels like something is alive and there's a whisper from the watch; Jack.

Meanwhile, John stares as he doesn't understand what this has to do with anything.

[captainspain]

Jack feels the whisper in the back of his head and sighs softly. I don't know how to reach him without scaring him he thinks.

"I see...and your mother," he asks his voice quiet still.

[borntolove]

"A nurse." John replies; as far as The Doctor he could show Jack where The Tardis is and drag John in like this or open the watch. Jack's choice.

"I hardly see what these questions have to do with disturbing me from my chamber, good, sir."

[captainspain]

"The ship is in danger," Jack says carefully, "and I have a way out but you need to come with me....or at the least open the watch...please good sir this is important."

[borntolove]

John wants to roll his eyes, but they don't think someone is ridiculous and pauses to stare at Jack and something like before - that they can be trusted.

"Let me pack my suitcase." Which John is already on; a change of clothes, his Impossible Journal, the pocket watch. Not much and then stands in front of Jack.

"Lead on."
