For x_thedoctor_x Dark Jack and Dark Doctor

 Jack rested with his feet up on the console of the TARDIS his new leather coat tossed haphazardly on the back of the captain's chair. He's humming softly to himself just a wordless tune. He is beyond happy to be in the only happy home he has ever known. He had wished that it had been under better reasons but he has the Doctor and that was all that mattered to him. 

He hears the sound of footsteps but he doesn't look around too comfortable to move. Besides who else could it be. He grins and waits for the Time Lord to speak.

Jack rests his hand against the console. He starts pressing the right buttons like he just stepped away for an hour rather than a few centuries. "Never forgot her," he says gently, "it's hard to when she's part of you."

"Yeah, she has that affect on you," the Doctor agreed, slamming a lever up and spinning a dial. "I've got a few people who have left their mark on me too," he added, smiling at Jack. "Some people who get under your skin and never leave."

"Oh so is that why you called me wrong," Jack teases, "it's like the Time Lord version of hair pulling."

"Ha! You are wrong, you're so very wrong, but I've found that I'm getting pretty comfortable with some wrongs. And for the record, you kissed me, not the other way around, back when I had the...you know...ears."

[captainspain]

"In my defense I thought I was going to die forever and you wouldn't let me kiss you before than," Jack says with another grin, "I wanted to do so much more but there wasn't time."

[x_thedoctor_x]

"Oh, you've got nothing but time now, Jacky boy," the Doctor grinned. "And oh, the things I have planned for you," he added, licking his lips.

"That look should be considered obscene," Jack comments his throat suddenly dry. He swallows hard. "I can't wait to wipe it off with some of those ideas of yours."

"And what makes you think I'll let you do anything I don't want you to do, let alone wipe off my obscene looks?" the Doctor asked, leaning against the console as the TARDIS moved into the vortex. "I could spend the next week teasing you to the point of madness you know."

The idea had such merit.

"But don't worry, I won't make you wait, Captain."

I don't blame you at all.

"You'd better not," Jack says softly, "and I can ruthless when I don't get what I want."

"You've yet to see me ruthless, Jack," the Doctor replied as the TARDIS shot out of the vortex. "But if these are the people who responsible for all of that death, of Ianto's death, ooh you're going to see it. I'm not the man you once knew, Jack. Are you prepared for that?"

If Rose could see him now she'd be horrified, but not even that thought was enought to stop him anymore. He was too far gone, too angry and a bit addicted to his own power now.

"Yes," Jack says simply and meaning it. "Yes Doctor I will go where you lead and I will enjoy it."

"Then let's go unleash a bit of Gallifreyan vengeance, shall we," he grinned, rushing to the door of the TARDIS and peeking outside. "Ready?"

Jack grins back and follows right behind the Doctor. "Point me at something and I'll shoot it."

[x_thedoctor_x]

"This is your mission, Captain, your vengeance. You point me in the direction you want. I can guarantee, they won't know what hit time," the Doctor said, his lip curling into a sneer.

"For Ianto," he added, nodding at Jack.

[captainspain]

"For Ianto," Jack says his voice tight as he leads the way into the 456's inner sanctum.

The Doctor felt his shoulders straighten and his jaw tighten. He felt like a soldier going to war, a feeling he hadn't felt in quite some time. His hearts were pounding wildly in his chest as he grinned at Jack.

"Ooh this feels good."

[captainspain]

Jack spots a computer terminal and heads over starting to type. "How good is your hearing Doctor? Sorry to change the subject but it's important."

"A sight better than yours. Get it. Sight? Never mind, what am I listening for?"

[captainspain]

"Funny," Jack says, "but I'm about to get the 456's attention when a very loud noise...I need to know how high you can hear I don't want it to hurt you."

[x_thedoctor_x]

"Don't worry about me, I play with sonic screwdrivers for a living. Even if it hurts, it won't last forever, right?"

Right?

[captainspain]

"Last time I used this tactic someone died," Jack says softly, "don't want that to happen to you."

[x_thedoctor_x]

"Then I regenerate and we carry on," the Doctor said, scowling. He wasn't going to die, he refused outright to die or regenerate. "Do it!"

"For the record I really like this face so don't die if you can help it okay," Jack says punching the last button as a very high pitched whine fills the air as do strange screams.

Buggery flipping hell!!

The Doctor's hands slammed over his ears and he instinctively ducked, looking for the source of the screams.

"Ya, I think that got their attention," he shouted, grinning maniacally at Jack.
